Durban-born actress and model Luyanda Zwane’s debut waterproof jewellery collection with Cotton On accessory brand RUBI x Luyanda Zwane is continuing to set the tone for summer fashion trends.
The 22-year-old star’s 19-piece capsule marks a major milestone as a first-of-its-kind African partnership for the international retailer.
Reflecting on the vision behind her designs, Zwane shared how accessories mirror her personal growth and identity.
“Jewellery represents wealth, self-love, and luxury, all of which speak directly to where I am in my life.
“I’m not shrinking myself for anyone. I’m not watering down... I am shining as bright as I can,” said the breakout star.
The versatile line features stackable items including diamond tennis necklaces, bracelets, anklets, ear cuffs, Dia baguettes, and signet rings built to withstand the summer elements.
Zwane explained that her go-to styling strategy involves layering statement pieces to instantly transform standard everyday looks.
“Even though your outfit could be simple, you can literally have 10 rings on your fingers, and it juices it up already,” said The Polygamist star.
